What types of electrical panels does Omega Power Controls manufacture?
We manufacture LT power control centres (PCC), motor control centres (MCC), APFC panels, VFD/drive panels, distribution boards, DG synchronisation panels, custom LT panels, HT switchgear up to 33 kV and sandwich bus ducts — all at our own works in Hyderabad, with CPRI & ERDA type-tested, IEC 61439 compliant designs.
How do I get a quotation, and how long does it take?
Send your single-line diagram, load list or BOQ through the enquiry form, email or WhatsApp. We reply within one working day, and a detailed techno-commercial offer follows once the scope is clear. GA drawings are submitted for approval before manufacture.
What decides the price of an LT panel?
Mainly the switchgear make and ratings (incomer and feeder sizes), fault level, busbar rating, form of separation (Form 2 to Form 4b), enclosure protection class, and the extent of metering and automation. Two panels that look alike can differ widely in price for these reasons — which is why we quote from your drawings, not from a standard list.
Why do I need an APFC panel?
Industrial loads draw reactive power that lowers your power factor. Below the utility's threshold you pay penalties; above it you earn incentives. An APFC panel switches capacitor stages automatically to hold the target power factor, typically paying for itself in months. For drive-heavy plants we add detuned harmonic filter reactors.
Does Omega take complete turnkey electrification contracts?
Yes. We execute HT & LT turnkey electrification across Telangana and Andhra Pradesh — design, supply, 11/33 kV substation and HT works, LT installation, earthing, testing, commissioning and statutory approvals — from ₹50 lakh upward with no upper limit, with panels from our own works.
Do you handle Electrical Inspectorate / CEIG approvals?
Yes. Drawing submission, liaison with the Electrical Inspectorate in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh, inspection coordination and energisation clearance are part of our turnkey scope.
Are your panels type-tested?
Yes — our designs are type-tested at CPRI, Bengaluru and ERDA, Vadodara to IEC 61439 / IS 8623, and we are ISO 9001:2015 certified. Test reports are shared with the offer, and every panel passes routine tests before dispatch.
Do you supply outside India?
Yes. We have exported project supplies to Africa and the Middle East for over a decade, with export packing, destination-standard documentation and commissioning support — recognised with the FIEO Export Excellence Award, Southern Region 2013–14.
What support do you provide after commissioning?
Warranty support, annual maintenance contracts, breakdown attendance, spares and plant electrical upgrades — from the same engineering team that built the panels.
Where are your works located?
Two works in Hyderabad — Jeedimetla and Shivanagar (Patancheru) — and a branch at IDA Surampalli, Vijayawada. Site teams operate across Telangana and Andhra Pradesh.
